1994 is the second year of the Thomas Wooden Railway System. This year is notable for the introduction of Clickity-Clack Track and the relocation of production from the United States to China.

Vehicle designs received dated wheels, non-stapled bottoms, and rounded magnets (a surplus of flat magnets led to some vehicles still having them).
