Hector is a huge and happy hopper truck. He can carry more coal than any other truck on Sodor. Hector used to be afraid of being filled with coal, but Thomas showed him that being filled with coal wasn't scary at all.

- Hector is taller and wider than many other vehicles, which can make it hard for him to fit under many bridges or tunnels.
- Unlike most character cards, Hector's image on the back side faces the front view rather than showing the face up close.
