Madge is a snub-nosed truck with a three-wheeled cab and a flatbed. What she lacks in elegance, shes makes up for in strength and personality. She is the prime organizer of the engines but she can be playful and loves a joke.

- In the 2008 Yearbook, UK yearbooks, and Learning Curve website, the prototype Take Along Madge is used instead of the Wooden Railway Madge.
- The prototype Madge features grey headlights.
